Forty years of rock solid experience

Jaakko Tielinen, the founder of Ylämaan Graniitti Oy, started quarrying in the 1950s when top-quality granite was in great demand both in Finland and elsewhere. Our very first own quarry was established in the early 1970s, and we started our high-quality granite refining processes in 1980. Over the past four decades the stone worktops and other products manufactured by Ylämaan Graniitti have found their way into the selections of well-known kitchen designers and other retailers as well as into thousands of Finnish homes. Every year we also produce impressive natural stone worktops and other interior stone products for numerous large projects, such as apartment buildings, hotels, business premises and various other important buildings.
